When and how is the security deposit paid?

On the first day of the rental, a charge (not a hold) of €1,000 will be made to the credit or debit card provided by the customer. This amount will be refunded after the camper has been inspected and confirmed to be in the same condition as at the start of the trip.

The security deposit can only be paid by card. Cash or bank transfers are not accepted.

The deposit does not need to be paid with a card under the same name as the person who made the reservation, nor with the same card used for the rental payment. However, the cardholder's documentation (ID and driver’s license) must be presented by the accredited driver at the time of payment.

IMPORTANT:

• Do not forget to bring your card on the day of pick-up.
• Check your card’s limit beforehand to ensure you can make the payment.
• If you use a credit card, be aware that the deposit charge and refund may fall into different billing cycles. Even if FURGOCASA processes the refund immediately, it may take several weeks for the amount to appear back in your account, depending on your bank's policies.
