The Burriana City Council, located in the south of Castellon, has received authorization from the Generalitat Valenciana to construct a motorhome parking area right on the beachfront. This project began its planning phase in December with the aim of creating a space that can accommodate up to 26 motorhomes, thus increasing tourist overnight stays in the city and boosting the local economy by attracting both national and international tourists.

In a recent session, the Government Council of the Community of Madrid has decided to move towards the modernization of the regulatory framework for outdoor tourist spaces, including campsites and areas designated for the stay of motorhomes, camper vehicles, and similar. This step is materialized with the launch of a public consultation through the Transparency Portal, referring to a Decree project that seeks to redefine the organization of these spaces in the region.

Last November, the council of Águilas submitted a request to install height barriers in various natural areas, including the beaches of La Carolina, La Higuerica, and El Arroz. This request, directed to the State's Coastal Demarcation and the Regional Ministry of Environment of Murcia, seeks authorization to install barriers with a height of 2.10 meters. These barriers would allow access and parking for cars but would restrict the entry of taller vehicles.
